I grew up with my grandmother, who migrated here from the Dominican Republic. She first introduced me to cooking at the age of eight. When I was 18 years old, I attended the Culinary Institute of America where I learned to sharpen my skills. My first passion was Art and I am able to utilize that skill and use the center of the plate as my canvas today. I have been in the food industry for 20 years. I have worked in some of the top restaurants in New York City, alongside some of the most elite Chefs in our industry. Throughout my career, I was featured in the Food Network and have worked in a variety of cuisines including Italian, French, Continental and Asian Fusion Fine Dining. I enjoy all areas of the culinary world and the opportunity to learn more as it evolves.
